How Pyrolysis Works

Advanced technology that converts biomass into renewable heat and stable biochar.

1.

Biomass Input

Sustainable biomass feedstock is fed into the pyrolysis reactor, where it undergoes controlled heating in an oxygen-limited environment.

2.

Heat Generation

The process releases renewable heat energy that can be used for district heating, industrial processes, or power generation.

3.

Biochar Output

Stable biochar is produced as a byproduct, permanently sequestering carbon and creating valuable soil amendment and building materials.

Do you have a question?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Pyrolysis is a process in which organic matter is heated in an oxygen-free or low-oxygen atmosphere at high temperatures – typically between 400 and 900 degrees Celsius. During this process, the material undergoes chemical decomposition, resulting in the formation of two main products: biochar (a carbon-rich solid) and gas.
Biochar stores carbon in places such as the soil for long periods of time, reducing the amount of CO₂ in the atmosphere.
We use organic waste such as wood residues, agricultural waste and municipal waste in our pyrolysis plants.
Yes, we only use technology from trusted partners with high standards of security and reliability.
Green district heating reduces CO₂ emissions and provides a sustainable heating solution for homes and businesses.
